RTH is a veteran-owned small business (VOSB) made up of a team of fully licensed and insured mechanics (in pipefitting, plumbing, and med gas) and ASME certified welders (QA Program ASME B31.1).

In addition to providing quality commercial construction and renovation services, RTH also offers professional project management and design services, as well as commercial HVAC and plumbing services.

Our Management Team

Meet the RTH Mechanical Contractors Inc Management Team! Our management team and the entire company is made up of a close-knit and collaborative group of professionals.

Richard Hansell, President

Richard entered the mechanical and plumbing industries about 50 years ago, starting with a 4-year apprenticeship, and gradually working his way up to Plumber/ Pipefitter/ Welder/ Foreman before opening RTH Plumbing & Heating in 1986. In 2009, the company changed its name to RTH Mechanical Contractors Inc. Under Richard’s leadership, the company has grown to over 60 employees, with work expanding into four states on the East Coast.

Dana Covey, Senior Project Manager

Dana began his career in the plumbing and pipefitting industry over 40 years ago, holding positions from Mechanic to Project Engineer, and everything in between. He has managed a variety of projects, ranging from schools, prisons, and hospitals to the more complex systems in manufacturing, industrial and steam power plants (oil, gas and coal-fired). At RTH, Dana oversees project scheduling and coordination and supervises manpower & safety.

Steven Sacharczyk, Senior Project Manager

Steven (Steve) has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, with a course study in Plastics and Chemical Engineering. He completed the Plumbers and Pipefitters Apprentice Training Program and quickly advanced from Journeyman up to General Foreman. At RTH, Steve estimates commercial and industrial projects and manages RTH field personnel, overseeing the management of each project from beginning through completion.

Bryan Covey, Project Manager

Bryan began his career in the plumbing and pipefitting industry over 30 years ago, holding positions from Mechanic and Service Tech to Project Estimator, and now Manager. Bryan has managed projects ranging from light commercial projects such as schools, office renovations and retro-fit-ups to large commercial projects including hospitals, manufacturing and industrial sites. At RTH, Bryan oversees project estimation, management, schedules and coordination of projects.
